A passkey is a secure, passwordless way to sign in to your Metal Pay account. Instead of using a password, passkeys let you log in using:

Before setting up a passkey, make sure you:

Have an active Metal Pay account
Are logged in using your email/phone number and password
Have biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint) or a passkey-supported password manager set up on your device

How to Add a Passkey

Step 1: Open the Metal Pay app

Step 2: Tap your profile picture to open Settings.

Step 3: Select Manage Passkeys

Step 4: Tap Add Passkey

Step 5: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup

Once added, your passkey will be linked to your account.

How to Log In with a Passkey

Step 1: Log out of your account

Step 2: Tap Sign In

Step 3: Tap Sign in with Passkey

Step 4: Authenticate using your chosen method (Face ID, fingerprint, PIN, or password manager)

You’ll be signed in instantly - no password required.

Manage or Remove a Passkey
To add additional passkeys or remove existing ones:

Go to Settings
Tap Manage Passkeys
Select a passkey to remove by sliding it to the left, or choose Add Passkey to add another
