To access all features of the Metal Pay app, complete the identity verification process. Benefits include:
- Buy with Credit or Debit Card: Direct purchases using your card. (Note: Selling to cash is temporarily unavailable.)
- Buy USDC: Use your card to buy USDC for future transactions.
Verification Steps
- Access Verification: Tap the Crypto card, USDC card, or green Deposit button.
- Initiate Verification: Click ‘Finish Verifying Your Account’.
- Enter Address: Provide your residential address.
- Enter Date of Birth: Input your Date of Birth.
- Answer Questions: Complete the on-screen questions.
- Submit Tax Number: Enter your Tax Number and click ‘Continue’. (Learn why we ask for them.)
- Start Verification: Click “Start Verification”.
- Select Document: Choose to scan your ID or Passport.
- Grant Camera Access: Allow Metal Pay to use your camera.
- Capture Front of ID: Center your ID and tap “Capture”.
- Review Photo: Check for clarity; click ‘Continue’ if good, or ‘Retake’ to redo.
- Scan Back of ID: Repeat for the back of your ID or proceed if using a passport.
- Take a Live Selfie: Remove glasses/hat and fit your face in the oval frame.
- Process Completion: Your info will be processed, and you'll see a success message soon.
Congratulations! You now have full access to Metal Pay.
