To fully utilize all the features of the Metal Pay app, you must complete the identity verification process. Verifying your account provides several benefits, including:
- Buying with Credit or Debit Card: Purchase directly with your credit or debit card. (Note: Selling to cash is temporarily unavailable.)
- Buying USDC: Use your credit or debit card to buy USDC for future purchases, whether recurring or opportunistic.
Step-by-Step Verificatin Process

Access Verification: Tap on the Crypto card, USDC card, or the green Deposit button.

Initiate Verification: Tap on the ‘Finish Verifying Your Account’ button.

Enter Address: Provide your residential address.

Enter Date of Birth: Input your Date of Birth.

Answer Questions: Complete the on-screen questions.

Submit Tax Number: Enter your Tax Number and tap ‘Continue’. (Click here to learn why we ask for them.)

Start Verification: Click on “Start Verification”.

Select Document: Choose the document you intend to scan (ID or Passport).

Grant Camera Access: Allow Metal Pay to access your camera.

Capture Front of ID: Center the front of your ID within the box, ensuring all corners are visible. Tap the “Capture” button.

Review Photo: Check your photo for clarity and visible information. Click ‘Continue’ if satisfactory or ‘Retake’ to try again.

Scan Back of ID: For driver’s license or ID, repeat the process for the back of your ID. If using a passport, proceed to the next step.

Take a Live Selfie: Remove your glasses and/or hat. Hold your phone to your face, ensuring your face fits within the oval frame.

Process Completion: Your information will be processed, and you will see a success message shortly.
Congratulations! You now have full access to Metal Pay.
