To access all features of Metal Pay Connect, you must complete the identity verification process. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Enter Your Card Details
- Cardholder Name
- Card Number
- Expiration Date
- CVV
Step 2: Enter Your Billing Address
- Make sure to enter the correct billing address.
IMPORTANT: If your billing address is different from your current residential address, do not check the “this is my residential address” box. You will be asked to provide your current residential address later in the process.
Step 3: Wait for Card Authentication
Step 4: Verify Your Identity
- Enter your Legal First and Last Names.
- Enter your Phone Number and validate it by entering the code sent via text message.
- Enter your Social Security Number and tap ‘Continue’.

Step 5: Prepare for Document Verification
- Have your ID or Passport ready and get your camera prepared.
- Scan the QR code provided using your phone.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
Step 6: Capture Your Document

Select the document you are verifying (ID or Passport).

Allow Metal Pay Connect to access your camera.

Center the front of your ID in the frame, ensuring all corners are visible. Tap “Capture”.
- Review your photo. If clear and legible, tap “Continue”. If not, tap “Retake”.

If using a Driver’s License or ID, repeat the process for the back. If using a Passport, continue to the next step.
Step 7: Take a Live Selfie
- Remove glasses or hats.
- Align your face within the oval frame and hold steady.
Step 8: Verification and Questionnaire
- Your information will be processed, and a success message will appear shortly.
- Answer the 6 questions provided.
