This article will explain what happens if you do not certify your required tax information with Metal Pay.
As a regulated financial services company, Metal Pay requires customers to have certified W-8 or W-9 information on file, as applicable.
If you do not certify your required W-8 or W-9 information, you may continue to withdraw your funds, but you will no longer be permitted to perform transactions after December 31, 2026.
If you do not wish to certify your W-8 or W-9 information and would like to close your Metal Pay account, don't hesitate to get in touch with Client Services for assistance.
